Cheyenne, who provides Girl Genius with lovely colors, and his wife Eli Danger (Danger is her middle name! Really!) are currently (yes, at this very moment) embroiled in the adventure that is childbirth. So... in celebration of this, I have decided to share with you a piece that has been lurking in a back file for a while now. It was inspired by a cosplay photograph Cheyenne snapped at the Studio Foglio booth at WonderCon, then e-mailed to me, thus knocking my socks off with cute. This picture was later commissioned by the subjects of the photo, after much goobing on our part about what a great drawing it would make. We weren't actually hinting or anything, but I do love this one! (...and I can't imagine the Gil fans minding it too much, either. Heh.)
