We have a somewhat historic family moment here today, our oldest kid has made a T shirt design and has posted it over on Teespring. He did the art with a vague idea of the pun involved, then bounced variants of "I'm a Mourning Person," off us for a couple of days. None of that really worked well, until he simplified it down to just "Mourning Coffee" which I quite like. Phil and I aren't terribly good at coming up with this sort of thing ourselves, so it was an interesting process. Both of our kids do a lot of drawing now. The oldest stopped for a long time--between around elementary school and mid-high school. The youngest never stopped, and is even teaching himself to animate, and so gets a lot of admiration for his skills from his older brother. They're wonderfully supportive of each other, which makes me very happy. I hope I'll have a lot more to share in the coming years. So, if you're feeling goth-y and in need of caffeine, head on over to Dr. Zootsuit's Emporium on Teespring and pick one up! I'm told that Teespring has a weird system where the shirt won't be up for long unless it sells some unlikely number of copies...so if you want one, don't put it off too long or it might disappear from the site? Anyway, the sample he ordered came in last Thursday, and it looks great in person. I'm going to buy one for myself in a large size to use as a sleep shirt. --Kaja
