Volume Six of Girl Genius is at the printer, awaiting delivery of the paper upon which it will be printed.

This second edition will be losing two filler illustrations, and gaining two new pages of story. (In the first edition, we made a miscalculation in the page count, and wound up with a lovely double-page that wasn't. With this edition, we'll be fixing that problem.)

If you have a copy of the first edition, don't worry. On the girlgeniusonline.com Free Stuff page, I have posted a high-resolution PDF containing the new pages, plus the double spread as it was meant to be. You can print them out and add them to your existing book. There should be no need to buy a whole new book just for those pages.

Volumes Eight and Four of Girl Genius Are Here!
...and all the pre-orders that could be shipped, have been shipped. Pre-orders that included Volumes Five and Six (see below) have not yet shipped, and will be mailed when everything is available to ship at once. If you need other arrangements, you can certainly contact The TPU Department of Customer Service, the department head of which will take care of any questions or difficulties you may have.


Volumes Five and Six of Girl Genius Are In Production
The second wave of our Summer books has yet to reach us. Argh. Our distributor's payment for Volumes Eight and Four was late, and we were only recently able to send our printer the check that allowed them to order the paper for the books... but now the paper has been ordered. As soon as it arrives, the printer can give us an in-hands date. As soon as they do that, I'll pass the information along to you!

In the meantime, pre-orders for Volumes Five and Six with and without sketch bookplates are still available.

Our Calendar is Now Updated!
I have finally updated the schedule page, which has been out-of-date for a long time. (Sorry!) If you're interested in seeing where we'll be in the next few months, you can have a look here.

Sketch Bookplates are Still Available for the Reprints of Volumes Five and Six
The original art sketch bookplate offers for Volumes Four and Eight ended on July 25th, although you can still preorder the books themselves. Volumes Five and Six still have their sketch offers in place until further notice, so all hope is not lost... Phil has done some really lovely work for the bookplates.

Two MythAdventures Novel Collections--Signed by Phil--Now Listed in the Online Store
We have a couple of new items listed in our online company store: the two HUGE collections of Robert Asprin's MythAdventures novels. These two volumes contain twelve full novels between them, from Another Fine Myth to Something M.Y.T.H. Inc., and are signed by Phil. You can buy them separately, or together at a special price, or even as part of the fabulous MythSplosion package, which includes both books as well as the Myth board game and Phil's Myth graphic novel adaptation.

GG Volume Three is Out-of-Print, Will be Reprinted ASAP
We have been getting queries about Girl Genius Volume Three. It is currently out-of-print, and we will be reprinting as soon as we can. Which will be a few months, because these things take time. (It will probably be reprinted in January 2010, if not sooner.)

Volume One of Girl Genius is Nearly Out of Print, Color Edition Scheduled for January 2010
Stock of Girl Genius Volume One is running very low. The next printing will be in color, so if you really want the large size printing in black and white, now is the time to grab it. You can still get black and white in the Omnibus edition, of course. The color version of Volume One is loosely scheduled for January 2010, I'll try to keep you posted.

The Top Web Comics Vote Button
A surprising number of readers have noticed that I removed the TWC vote button from the bottom of the site menu. Thank you for caring, and for voting for us! We really do appreciate it.
The thing is: I let the vote incentives slide a shockingly long time ago, and the whole thing was looking pretty abandoned. I decided that it would be best to just cut it off until I can deal with it properly again. I will post the button later when I have a good pile of vote incentives lined up, and then I'll make a big announcement about it and we'll see if we can't get back up there into the top ten. The fact that so many of you have been voting for us even when we didn't have the incentives up means a lot to us. We were still high on the list, even without incentives or any promotion of the voting beyond the lost little button on the navigation menu. That's pretty amazing!
